Okay, so Matthew Healy of The 1975 is obviously a hot babe, and that's exactly why we're choosing him for our latest Babe Alert. There is SO much to talk about - he gives us so many reasons to love him and there's already so much info on him out there in the world. We wouldn't call him a "new babe," but he is most definitely a hot babe. Seriously, irresistable. And here's why.

    1. His hair.

I'm pretty sure that this is a hairstyle I am never attracted to. Long curls? Umm, I'd have to think about that one for sure... But somehow, Healy makes it work. He really makes it work. Like his hair is gorgeous and so, so lush, I couldn't imagine it any other way. I wouldn't want to.

Well we've actually seen him without curls before and he rocked that too:

But that ponytail, though... *heart eyes*.

    2. His chest tattoo.

Again, a chest tattoo is not something I'd typically be attracted to, but it looks like he can making anything work. It's so bad ass and rock 'n' roll. Can he just be shirtless forever?

    3. His style.

Sometimes wearing fancy suits, sometimes going shirtless, nerdy Harry Potter glasses... Whatever it is, his aesthetic is always on point. He's got that edgy Brit boy look and it is so #DREAMY.

    4. His flamboyant, IDGAF attitude.

This video perfectly shows his effortlessly cool 'tude. And the blue eyeshadow is all kinds of YAASSSSS.

    5. He's not just a singer.

He is also an awesome producer and an awesome solo, stripped-back performer. Even back in the early days, he sounded phenomenal.

    6. He tries to get everyone to enjoy at least one song without filming it on their iPhones during their live show.

Which is awesome because it shows that he wants everyone to try to be in the moment and he ain't artificial.

    7. The 1975's latest album, I Like It When You Sleep..., is a frickin' masterpiece.

And listening to Healy talk about how personal it is makes it even better.

    8. He covered Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah."

And ummm, it's BEAUTIFUL. ALL of the tears.

    9. He's in touch with his emotions.

Check out this live video of him crying during "Is There Somebody Who Can Watch You."

    10. And he's got sooooo many good memes.
