Let's face it -- judging people's red carpet outfit choices may be gossipy and superficial, but it's everyone's favorite part of the award ceremony. We get to gawk at all of our favorite celebrities in their carefully crafted, ridiculously expensive, perfectly fitted outfits and dream about the day that we will be the ones on the red carpet, twirling around like queens.

Also, with every amazing outfit there's an equally, uh, not-so-fabulous one waiting at the side lines. We're not one to discriminate here so we've made sure to include the less than perfect on this list, too. Take a look for yourselves, judge for yourselves but enjoy the guilty happiness this brings!

    Cardi B

This rambunctious gal-of-the-moment did not shy away from making a statement in her angelic gown. The flow of the design is literally everything we love about Cardi B -- it's loud, flirty, and fun and that's precisely why we love her. She made waves with her comment about her nerves being "butterflies in my stomach and my vagina" and ladies, isn't that the most on point description of anxiety, like, ever? She was also not afraid to show off her half a million dollar engagement ring either, which was the perfect accessory to her otherwise perfect outfit.

    Miley Cyrus

Sleek and sophisticated in this black pant suit ensemble, Miley is nothing less than an incredible woman. Her performance with Elton John was inspiring (and so was the dress she wore). Can we start a petition for her to go on his final three year tour? The two of them left audiences in awe with everyone physically present, giving a standing ovation. This perfect outfit choice resembles just where Miley is heading, into a wise, spectacular career. Class act!

    Camila Cabello

This 2017 break out artist really glistened in her red gown on the red carpet. The silky touch and floor length finish is the definition of elegant, just like her! Her attitude the whole night was calm and collected, giving her a beautiful aloofness and proving that she's a great solo artist.

    Anna Kendrick

Another pant suit vision, Anna rocked this checkered print. The pink heels really added to the look, giving it a dainty touch which, paired with the black lace, works as a complementing duo. The white rose is worn with pride and actually compliments the outfit, too! Can Anna ever really not look so chic though? She's constantly wowing us with her simple but highly effective fashion choices.

    Lana Del Rey

This headpiece was actually a secret ode to one of the forgotten women of Hollywood, Hedy Lamarr who passed away in 2000. This Austrian born actress was one of the original feminists of early Hollywood before going on to become an inventor. Yep, those bluetooth headphones are thanks to this incredible woman. The headpiece stems from Lamarr's iconic role in the film Ziegfeld Girl, and although it hasn't been confirmed yet, the resemblance is undeniable. Lana at it again with her subtlety and angelic imagery, will she ever not be a visual icon?

    Donald Glover

This multi talented man proves he has an eye for style as well. This pure white suit is winning on every level -- it's daring, complementary, and edgy, just like Donald Glover himself but in suit form. His scruffy beard and mustache add another element to the outfit.

    Lady Gaga

This dress is wild and over the top, but it absolutely works! The train as we can clearly see is basically the length of a flight of stairs, which is a dangerous tripping hazard but #WorthIt. It's really not a matter of practicality for this woman, but about the persistence of fashion and fearlessness. Gaga embodies this dress so elegantly, we're going to call her Graceful Gaga from now on.

Ne-Yo is a rare, strange being, but there's no denying this outfit is a winner. The mustard color is a risky decision but I'm glad he did it. And paired with that hat? Yes, please!

    Chrissy Teigen & John Legend

This couple deserves a spot on this list, as they compliment each other whilst both sparkling individually. Literally sparkling. Chrissy showing off her baby bump loud and proud, and the two look so happy you could just cry.

Queen Bey is constantly wowing us with her outfits every year, and we're constantly gob smacked at her visionary take on fashion. Whatever awards show she attends she ensures she's the center of attention and for good reason, you can't take your eyes off of her! Blue Ivy and Jay Z also looked absolutely classic in their outfits. Just a gorgeous family all around.

    Kali Uchis

This gal is outrageous and eccentric, which is fabulous in every way possible except maybe for this slightly off ensemble. It's on the right track of something fun and quirky, but it just misses the spot. Kali still has her confidence and presence so she's still a hit!

is she retro or is she futuristic who knows @kimshuistudio @shidehkafei

    Sarah Silverman

We get the angle you're going for and it's a funny one, but it's just a little outdated. The fish nets are always a hit and miss, but the mid length puffy dress kind of ruins the effect of the stockings. The boots are also not quite right for this... It's not the absolute worst, but not the best.

This look is iconic but also not quite for the right reasons. It's got a powerful vibe that's matched with this brilliant woman's personality, but it also misses the mark. The cape would be a great addition if it was a little less dramatic, and the lace and the signature green are a bit much. The design would have worked if the loud components were made a little more subtle.

    Cyndi Lauper

Cyndi is renowned for her outrageous fashion choices and weird outfit conjunctions, and most of the time their eccentricities work, but just not this time. The print on the suit is a bit like a set of silk pajamas your mum would have, which is sometimes fun, but not for The Grammys. The cut of the pants were also a bit weird.

Despite her absolutely jaw dropping performance during the show, her red carpet outfit was not as inspiring. Not sure if the cowboy vibe ever really works unless you're an actual cowboy...but even then, probably not. Her boots were very sparkly and quite cool though, maybe pairing those with another less John Wayne ensemble could have gone better?

    Ava Max

There's been a lot of print failures this year, which is sad because print, when done right, can look amaaazzzing. This outfit however, is not so amazing. The pants and suit aren't quite the right fit, nor do the colors really create a flattering image. There's just too much going on.

I may or may not love the color yellow ??

    Lil Uzi Vert

This outfit is really in between an iconic breakdown of fashion or just weird. The pants are definitely great, they're rough and rugged and very industrial which is actually quite high fashion, however the hoodie on top of them kind of ruins their "wow" factor.

    Whole different planet .

Oh P!nk, this is not a great look, there's too much fluff and too much indistinctive color. It's not close to a successful outfit at all, and also appears to be quite irritating, pieces of fluff finding their way into the nostrils...uncomfortable and sneeze inducing.

    Joy Villa

It's great when artists get political on the red carpet, but when there's colorful fetus' drawn onto a dress it becomes a bit weird. The heavily loaded message with this outfit is a bit too controversial and not for a great cause. Her pro Trump support has been conveyed two years in a row now and I think we get the point, must we constantly have to see this kind of attitude on a night where other voices need to be heard?
