Pictured above, an old press shot of the band when it was just a duo. We've been fans for a while.

Dinosaur Feathers, the newly evolved Brooklyn four-piece, covers a lot of genres in their new single. "Untrue" moves well from part to part, unifying 60s pop harmonies with heavy drum fills, and turns on a dime into a slick cowbell funk jam. Leadman Greg Sullo slides up and down his wide vocal range appropriately in each section, and the song ends as quickly as it begins.

The song definitely shows Dinosaur Feathers' potential for the new year. Their new album, Whistle Tips is out April 10 on Ernest Jenning. They're touring throughout the US this spring, opening for hefty bands like Built to Spill, Blitzen Trapper and of Montreal.
