Today we are premiering the new single "Anchor," from Australian act The Kin, which consist of the beautiful brothers Isaac and Thorald Koren and the equally as beautiful Mark "Shakerleg" Nicosia. It features a tropical beat with a whole lot of oceanic imagery, "When the waves are breaking so high, when they crash in on the inside." The singer pleads and breaks into a sturdy falsetto reminiscent of X Ambassadors, making for an overall fervent pop song. The track is off of their upcoming album, Modern Primitive, which is set to drop this Friday, January 27th.

"'Anchor' is a song about being yourself," Isaac Koren of The Kin told Baeble. "It was written at a time when shit was hitting the fan for us and we realized that no matter what happened we could always sink into a place of our own gravity, a place that was not swayed by the tides of opinion or change."
