Lana Del Rey Spawns a Club Banger, Indirectly

Lana Del Rey's music tends to draw different responses from different people. "Summertime Sadness," a track off her debut studio album Born to Die (released late January of last year) has been recently remixed by up-and-coming electro music producer Adi Balbus aka Monsier Adi; it's probably safe to assume, by his radically different remix, that he's one of those who don't take too kindly to her typical sultry style, much like myself. Would it be terrible to say he worked a miracle?

The original track was released as a single in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland early last summer. If this remix had been produced and released shortly after, it quite possibly could have been one of Summer 2012's major club bangers...but I guess that's why it is called "Summertime 'Sadness'..."
