Perfect whistler Andrew Bird is getting ready to release the follow-up to his 2009 LP Noble Beast, and now we've got the first carefully constructed song-- "Eyeoneye" features the usual wordplay, quirky chord progressions, and Bird's signature whistling.

Everyone who buys a ticket for Bird's upcoming tour will receive a download code for the album, as well as two live EPs from 2011 and 2012-- all a pretty neat model for album distribution. He's also offering a box set via his site, featuring the album on 2xLP and CD, as well as a DVD called Here's What Happened, lyric booklet, a poster, a "photographic reproduction of the 1915 album cover image," and a "stationary and stamp set."

Beak It Yourself is out 3/6 via Mom + Pop.
