Baeble First Play: The Synthpop Atmosphere Of Alice On The Roof

On Fridays, I like to share tracks that I'd want to hear at a club with a drink in hand as I dance the night away. But that's going to be...unlikely this weekend. We're due for 3 inches of snow tonight and a foot tomorrow. Thanks, Winter Storm Jonas. You're the worst Jonas Brother ever. You've topped, Kevin. Congrats. That joke aside, there's nothing saying you can't have a kick ass synthpop dance party in your own home, and that's where Alice on the Roof comes in.

Think Florence + the Machine with a touch of Lorde, and you've got an idea of what Alice on the Roof is all about. We've got the exclusive premiere of the young act's latest track, "Lucky You," and it marries understated synths and percussion to atmospheric vocals and the type of dance melodies that are perfect with headphones strapped over your ears. Alice on the Roof are in the midst of a lengthy European tour, and we wish we had tickets to one of those shows.
