is easily one of the most recognizable names and faces in entertainment, leading to massive criticism from the media for her music, image and personal life.
Having felt the pressure, the raptress posted a link
on her Twitter account leading to an article titled, "I've Come To Hate So Much Of The Internet" and followed it up with a series of tweets explaining her stance on today's media, reporting and misidentification of branding.
"The online version of a mag is always worse and by worse I mostly mean negative as fuck and purposely filled with misleading 'buzz lines' that often have little to do with the story," Iggy tweeted. "Also it's weird [sic] to see publications that are known (in their physical version) to be specifically geared towards something ie. Forbes
having online versions of their brand that don't seem to be focused on catering to their original demo. ie: people with brains."
She also had a piece of advice for blogs looking for the next big thing to generate traffic. "Media plays a big role in shaping society and it's a problem when we consume information online and it's undertone is very negative," she said. "Anyway, this isn't me saying all media is bad. I'm just saying: Give ppl more credit. Don't trade your brand identity for clicks."
