The Night Terrors of 1927 appeared on The Late Show With Seth Meyers Monday night to promote their just released debut album, Everything's Coming Up Roses. The band will also soon be starting a tour with Bleachers and Joywave in March.

The stylish synthpop group performed two songs, the anthemic "When You Were Mine" and the ballad- like "Always Take You Back." Frontman Jarrod Gorbel's deep voice was backed by the lighter, female background vocals, supplied by Lauren White on keyboards and guest Dee Dee Penny from the Dum Dum Girls. Gorbel, who you may know from The Honorary Title, started The Night Terrors of 1927 with Blake Sennett, of Rilo Kiley in 2010.

Their performance with Penny isn't the first time they've gotten some vocal help from a female-fronted band- The recorded version of "When You Were Mine", which was first released on their 2013 EP Guilty Pleas, features Tegan and Sara.
