This week we told you
about Sam Smith, Disclosure
, and AlunaGeorge getting slapped with a lawsuit by unknown songwriter, Katie Farrah Sopher, who claims all three acts used stolen lyrics sold by a former abusive ex-boyfriend.
While at the time of publishing, no accused camp had come forward to address the allegations, Disclosure has broken the silence with Facebook post defending their innocence.
"We want to make it very clear that every Disclosure song we have put our names to has been written by us," they stated. " We take great pride in our self sufficiency, our work and the way we work, and its incredibly frustrating when someone tries to take that away from us, by claiming we stole even one word or one note of our music from anyone."
On a lighter note, the duo has also announced they are working on new music for their second full length album...stolen lyrics not-included.
