Sky Ferreira may not be a household name to the masses, but she's done enough in her 22-years to garner a strong following, modeling jobs, and a music career, which fell short of really taking off after the 2013 release of her album, Night Time, My Time.

While she toured to promote the album, released a couple music videos, and opened for a leg of Miley's Cyrus' Bangerz tour, Sky's music presence seems to have grown quiet, raising questions that she may be ready to drop the mic.

Turns out Sky has dipped her toes into the acting pool with roles in the indie-drama Putty Hill and scary movie The Green Inferno. Now she's signed on to star in the new Kevin Spacey movie Elvis & Nixon, telling the story of the 1970 meeting between "The King" and President Nixon.

Sky has been cast to play the girlfriend of Elvis' assistant Jerry Schilling. Posting the news to her Instagram, she captioned a vintage picture of President Nixon and Elvis with, "!...Feeling #BLESSED to be apart of this."

We doubt she's giving up music for good, but it will be interesting to see how she holds up against seasoned actors like, Spacey, Colin Hanks, and Johnny Knoxville, among others.
