has just given us another taste of his forthcoming album today, and it's called "The Good Side." It strays pretty far from the explosive lead single "My My My!", as this time Sivan goes for a more stripped back arrangement. Its the simply strummed acoustic guitar, the whimsical harp sound, and the slight humming underneath it all that lets us focus in on Sivan's sentimental story. Simply put, it's soft and beautiful, and although it's more of a slow burner, the production quality is still incredible and detail-oriented. About halfway through, the song bursts into a surreal, shimmering universe that is a bit reminiscent of Perfume Genius. It's whimsical.
His forthcoming album is set to drop this spring via Capitol Records.
