In four days, Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 45th President of The United States, it's no news that this change of power will directly threaten LGBTQ rights, reproductive rights, women's rights, immigrants, Muslim-Americans, and our climate. Traditionally, a newly elected President will use the first 100 days of their term to deliver on campaign promises and get policies put in place. Our First 100 Days is a beacon of hope in this uncertain time for so many Americans.

Our First 100 Days is preparing by raising money for groups that will be threatened by the upcoming Trump administration. On January 20th, the same day that Trump takes the oath of office, you will get access to download and stream a different single everyday, for 100 days. For just a $30, you will get music by artists such as Mitski, PWR-BTTM, Toro Y Mo, Whitney, The Mountain Goats and many more. This subscription will directly fund organizations working on the front lines like: The People's Climate Movement (Climate), All Above All (Reproductive rights), Cosecha (Immigration), Southerners On New Ground (LGBTQ), and Hoosier Action (Community building). Artist-focused non-profit, Revolutions Per Minute will also be helping to disperse donations.

The project was started in conjunction with Secretly Group and 30 Days, 30 Songs. 30 Days, 30 Songs has made a similar effort in the past when it released a song a day, for the 30 days leading up to the Election. The Washington Post called it "A playlist of songs Donald Trump will hate." Unfortunately, there's more work to be done. Our First 100 Days is more than a great cause, it is also a great way to discover new music by a lot of up and comingforward thinking acts. You can now pre-order the compilation on Bandcamp HERE.
