vampire weekend does mtv unplugged and the tonight show

In honor of Contra (on computers everywhere today, and also in stores probably), check out the boys stopping by MTV's Unplugged series (which does, in fact, still exist). Remember the one with Dashboard Confessional? Man, 2002! Killing it!

Now people be hating on VW, and rightfully so, they gots the hype to annoy even the softest of critics. But Contra isn't the career killer that some are undeservedly pointing fingers at, so chill out, world! Let these guys just be themselves, they are really good at it! They even translated really well to the acoustic setting with strings and flutes and stuff. It is enjoyable! Don't be a grump.
