Last night, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association held the 73rd annual Golden Globes, and although we don't generally cover the movie/TV industry, a couple notable musicians walked away with top honors (and one of the wins wasn't even for music). A meek looking Lady Gaga won the trophy for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel. She was hyperventilating; it was fabulous. Later that evening, Katy Perry presented Sam Smith and co-writer Jimmy Napes with the Golden Globe for Best Original Song for "Writing's on the Wall" from the James Bond film Spectre. And film composing legend won Best Original Score for Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight.
