It's Wednesday, my dudes, and that means one thing. It's hump day, and the work week is officially halfway done. For some of us it's a blessing, and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but for others, myself included, the cup is half empty. But fear not, because if you're staring at the computer screen, wondering where you're going to find the motivation to get your butt into gear, we here at Baeble Music have a little treat in store for you.
The Accidentals, described as genre-melding indie-folk, have released a stellar music video to accompany their track "Earthbound", and we're excited and privileged to present to you an exclusive premiere of it.
Along with the song and video, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire Savannah Buist gave us a run down on the track and video, saying,
"Everyone struggles with something at some point in their life. "Earthbound" came from a darker place. It was part of the story and it was part of the healing. It goes out to the people who aren't sure tomorrow can be better. It can. Making this video was therapeutic in a way. It was filmed in an abandoned psychiatric hospital whose focus was once to bring beauty from tragedy."
As you can see and hear, the beauty in the music video for "Earthbound" is matched only by the song itself. The abandoned psychiatric hospital that the band plays in is given a new life, as "Earthbound" reverberates through the walls, bringing light to a place so deprived of it. The song itself is particularly rousing, and accompanied by a rising swell of strings, the chorus becomes a stirring reminder that there is hope, and an affirmation that tomorrow brings a better day.
