Manuel Papayo Corao was born in Caracas, Venezuela on May 31, he decided to initiate a musical adventure without limits. While he lived in Caracas, he entered to study Music in the Conservatory of music Juan Jose Landaeta. He continued his studies of music production in Miami Dade College and composition in the Alex Berti Music School when he moved to Miami.
Between the years of 2000 and 2003, he was formally part of a band called DONPEPE, which had the opportunity to travel on tour all around the US. He was the percussionist for their self titled album. In the year 2004, he started playing with one of the most popular bands in Miami SUENALO as a percussionist and vocalist.
With this musical group, he had the opportunity to work with: Bosacucanova, Grammy Winners Bacilos and Grammy Nominees Locos Por Juana. He also performed in festivals such as: Latin Funk Festival in Miami, and New York, Langerado Fest, Fete e la Musique, Calle 8, and Carnival on the Mile. In the year 2005, he recorded percussion and vocals for Elastic Bond in their second CD EXCURSION. A band nominee Best Funky Fusion band Miami New Times.One of Five Local Bands You Need to Hear.

For the past three years, Papayo has been touring/ recording percussionist with the artist PITBULL. During this time, he has work/ share stage with: Lil John, Akon, Souljah Boy, Jessey Mccartney, Wyclef Jean, Lady GAGA, Victor Manuelle, Tito Nieves, T-Pain, Shaggy, Flo- Rida, Sean Kingston, Snoop Doggy Dog, Maili Cyrus, Don Omar, Jonas Brothers, Oscar de Leon,La Mosca, The Flaming Lips, Sean Paul, among manny others.
Later in the year 2007, released his first CD with the name Concrete Rebels, which he participate as a: Singer/songwriter, arranger, producer and percussionist. As a singer/ songwriter, he is an affiliate of SESAC
Because of his performance and professionalism, Papayo has the respect as a percussionist and singer/ songwriter from his colleagues in the music industry.
