Show Review

A heart-on-sleeve concept album about girl troubles that plays like a Motown album with drum machines, Hills Like Elephants' The Endless Charade features the crooning of Sean Davenport, drums from Matt Lynott [The White Buffalo] and production from Christopher Hoffe at Chaos Recorders in Escondido. Making use of vintage drum machines, Moog plug-ins, an old school pump organ, and an 80s synthesizer that was recorded with fans blowing to cool it down, give a listen to The Endless Charade.

Artist Bio

Sean Davenport Left San Diego for Berklee College of Music in Boston and a few years later walked away with a degree parlaying his education for bar stools and stages around the East Coast as a member of NYC's buzz band Abigail Warchild.
Upon the band's demise he returned to the West Coast where he started the equally volatile and talented electro-noise band Gun Runner with his pal Diego Rojano who could drive a bass line like LeBron James, but when Rojano's restaurant business Luche Libre gained popularity it signaled the end of the band before they could really get started.
