In this video from his forthcoming album Draw the Line
, longtime Irish balladeer David Gray
starts from modest, aesthetic beginnings. There is he, a guitar, a piano, and a stale white room. A single painting graces the face of one wall. But as he begins to perform "Fugitive", the painting begins to spill off its' canvas, coating the void of his surrounding with splashes of life and color. Certainly, the video is symbolic of something...though we'll let you decide what exactly.
