ON AN ON - Live At The Launch Pad

Earlier this year, we were introduced to the hooking synth and melodic bliss of Chicago and Minneapolis-based ON AN ON through their dreamy debut Give In. Their take on pop music was refreshingly charmed and something we had never heard before, however, the faces behind these sweet tunes were all too familiar. ON AN ON's three musicians - Nate Eiesland, Alissa Ricci, and Ryne Estwing - had all been well acquainted with the Baeble lenses back in 2011 as Scattered Trees. Though the former had its endearing qualities, ON AN ON's synth-driven style has proven its worth as a mood catalyst to the floating voice of Nate Eiesland.

When planning this year's Launch Pad down in Austin, it was a no-brainer when given the opportunity to once again host our Midwestern friends. And the trio did not disappoint, opening the show with the searing Give In highlight "The Hunter", ON AN ON carried an endearing sense of cool throughout the concert's entire 30 minutes.
