bigger rooms" - The Quietus

"sharp, honeyed vocals will likely earn her comparisons to the R&B-borrowing pop of fellow Brits Adele & Sam Smith" - Fader
July 1, 2016 -- New York, NY -- Today Frances releases her new single "Say It Again" [Capitol Records], listen HERE. The track was co-written and produced by Greg Kurstin (Adele, Sia, Beck).
"Say It Again" is an expressively penned track with a melodic simplicity and infectious chorus that encapsulates Frances' innate skill of setting a visual story to music. Frances' storytelling ability breathes life into this lyrically poignant track. Speaking on the song, Frances says, "It's a wonderful feeling to be in love. But sometimes we all have moments where we want someone to say 'I love you' again, just so we can check we heard them right."
In less than a year, Frances has solidified herself as one of 2016's fastest rising stars, sweeping nominations for both the esteemed Brits Critics Choice and BBC Sound of 2016 Poll. "Say It Again" is the follow-up to previous acclaimed singles "Don't Worry About Me" (which amassed over three million streams on Spotify, hit Radio 1's B List and reached #1 in Portgual on both iTunes and Shazam) and the striking "Borrowed Time," co-written with Howard Lawrence from Disclosure.
Frances made appearances at Coachella, The Great Escape and SxSW earlier this year, as well as performing a sold out show at KOKO in London in May as part of her UK headline tour. Last week Frances made her Glastonbury debut, performing an incredible show on the Pussy Parlure stage and a much heralded secret set on the BBC Introducing stage. This summer sees Frances perform at festival stages overseas as well as Lollapalooza stateside; catch her set on the Bud Light Stage at 1 pm on July 28.
Frances will release her debut album later this year.
