Dan Farber

Artist bio

Born in Israel, Los Angeles-based producer Dan Farber began his career at a young age as the in-house producer and writer for one of Israels most acclaimed hip-hop labels. Before turning 18, he left Israel to perform across the world with one of the labels artists, including shows in San Diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Namibia, Africa.

After globetrotting with Israeli hip-hop groups, Farber started focusing on his own career as a producer and engineer. His early original music was an eclectic take on bass music that garnered millions of plays, attention from Steve Aoki, Borgore, official remixes for Nick Jonas and D.R.A.M., and a dedicated fanbase of his own.

Since then, he has also composed, written and produced for many exciting people including Dizzee Rascal (UK), Dallas Austin (US), Maejor (US), and Nicole Millar (Australia), whose Farber-produced single Tremble was recently certified a Gold Record. Farber produced 3 tracks on Dizzee Rascals recent Raskit album, which hit Top 10 on the UK pop charts, and earned Farber's production universal praise from publications like Pitchfork, GQ and The Guardian.

Farbers fan base has grown tremendously as he continues to work with some of the biggest names in the business. He is constantly surprising his audience with his versatility and eclectic approach to music. Now, with new music forthcoming on Big Beat / Atlantic Records, Farber is ready to show the world a new, sleeker, darker side of Dance Pop.
