West Coast support dates June 23 - June 29 Daytrotter session June 26 Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band will kick-off its West Coast support tour with Cursive tonight, Tuesday June 23 in Seattle, WA at Neumos. The trek will wrap up on Monday June 29 in Pomona, CA at the Glasshouse. Full details below.
MSHVB recently stopped by Daytrotter to play tunes from its self-titled, Dead Oceans debut. The segment will go live Friday June 26.
In other news, MSHVB recently visited radio behemoth KEXP (see 5/15 post) for an in-studio session, performing selections from its debut. The band also has a brand new (and hilarious) infommercial to unleash on the world (View that here).
Mt St. Helens Vietnam Band, the bands self-titled debut, is now available worldwide on Dead Oceans. The album was co-produced by the band and Scott Colburn (Animal Collective, Arcade Fire). The album has received critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic, from respected media outlets like SPIN, Alternative Press, Seattle Times, Seattle Sound, The Stranger, Venus, Uncut, Filter, Teen Vogue, The Onion AV Club, Metromix, Drowned In Sound, NME, with more on the way.
