Our Lady Peace - "All You Did Was Save My Life"

info tour dates links

Remember the late 90s? Grunge had long ago doused itself in cheap whiskey and lit the fatal match, and out of its ashes sprung a flurry of bland alt-rock bands whose gravelly-voiced frontmen snarled their collective angst at various vague nothings. Our Lady Peace was the good kid among the scruffy Seether/Puddle of Mudd/Breaking Benjamin gang, making their mark with sweet songs like Clumsy and Innocent. Unfortunately they haven't stood the test of time, returning and bringing with them a run / forest / run video in which a damsel in distress flees in terror (perhaps from the uncomfortable lyrics, like the Red Sea / you split me open.) Check it out if you think The Fray just isn't angry enough, or if you're feeling nostalgic. - Nina Mashurova
