| |  Philly's constant hitmaker Kurt Vile gives the demented, Springsteenian vibe of "Freak Train" an equally demented video treatment, shredding gnarly instruments in a wasteland most likely littered with busted glass, dirty needles, and sad folks who have lost their way. Thankfully, Vile has not. Far from it, his most recent album Childish Prodigy flaunts a potent mastery of all things lo-fi and meant to rattle garage walls. - David Pitz
