Abandon your urban squalor and go west young man. That is the message from Portland’s Blitzen Trapper in this, their not so cheap video for “Wild Mountain Nation”. Plopping themselves in the middle of an animated postcard of sorts, this Orie Weeks directed frontier fling leaves NYC, climbs menacing mountains, only to blast off for other planets all together…all this while reminiscing of those terrifically twisted animation cuts fashioned by Terry Gilliam for Monty Python.
