Film composer, singer/songwriter, and all around awesome guy Keegan DeWitt has just released a new music video for his new song "Colour." The video is simple enough. Five guys in white t-shirts and blue jeans playing music in what appears to be an empty warehouse of some sort. The camera circles the band, letting us know the barren geography of the space that is only occupied by music. It isn't exactly ground-breaking visually, but the music fills in the gaps. The video is helped along by the driving bass lines and dancey drum beat of his backing band. Sprinkled in on top of the rhythm section are a fun synth line and jumpy palm-muted guitars. Every now and then, the guitars are given the opportunity to explore their sonic spectrum, giving the track a warmer and more well-rounded tone. DeWitt's melody is the glue holding the song together, making it come alive, and most importantly, making it fun.
