Late Night: Death Cab for Cutie

In celebration of their new album, Codes and Keys , Death Cab for Cutie appeared on David Letterman last night to perform their country ballad, "Stay Young, Go Dancing."

Earlier this week, the band also released the music video for "Stay Young, Go Dancing." Set in the sunny countryside, we watch lovers sway in the tall grass and grow old together to this sweet love song about enduring affection. Awww. Considering the changing season, it was a nice song to perform last night. Ben Gibbard sang about feeling renewed and alive, "through autumn's advancing" and "winter's advancing."

Letterman seemed flabbergasted that one of the band members sat poised to play both a guitar and the piano, commenting, "Oh, get another guy!" So, what, not a fan of the one-man-band?
