Hozier Gives A Sam Smith Burner A Needed Spark With Lively Cover

I sort of missed the boat on both Hozier and Sam Smith. I didn't hear "Take Me To Church" for the first time til earlier this year, and minus his work with Disclosure, I just think Sam Smith is a little boring. "Latch" is incredible. I'll pass on "Stay With Me." That said, leave it to the long-haired Irishman (I did sort of fall in love with "Take Me To Church" when I finally heard it) Hozier to make Sam Smith seem cool again. Hozier stopped by the BBC's live lounge and did a rollicking cover of Smith's "Lay Me Down" which I 100% prefer to the original.
