Last night, at Roseland Ballroom here in New York City, Radiohead
played their first major show since 2007. A few people really wanted to go
. If you happened to be lucky enough to snag a ticket, sold your body, or otherwise, we salute you and hope it was as tingly and awesome as these videos suggest. If you weren't, join us in peeking at a few songs from last night's set from the bird's eye view of some dude's iPhone. Bonus: the audio isn't terrible:
The night predictably started with The King Of Limbs
opener "Bloom", and many other TKOL
They played some classics, like the wonderfully depressing "Street Spirit", which was the first number of the second encore (and Thom forgot some of the words):
"Subterranean Homesick Alien", which hasn't been played live since Red Rocks 2003:
They also played a bunch of In Rainbows
essentials "15 Step", "Bodysnatchers", "All I Need" and "Reckoner", the final two of which were captured:
They've been practicing this one.
And we're told the night ended (after "Street Spirit") with "Nude", and Thom's sign-off: "This one is called Nude. You probably should help me. Cause I'm obviously going senile. New Yaawk!"
We'll continue to live vicariously through other people's Youtube accounts. God bless the internet!
