The Temper Trap gave a tight performance of their song "Fader" on
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night in support of a North American tour that is just getting underway. The band will be in the States, Canada and Mexico through the end of October.
Since the release of their first and only full-length album
Conditions in August 2009, the band has been busy with touring and licensing its hook-filled indie rock everywhere from TV to advertisments to video games - seriously though, "Sweet Disposition" alone has appeared in mutliple ads, several TV shows and in the movie
(500) Days of Summer, and has been remixed by house music giants
Axwell and
Dirty South. They have also, according to their blog, begun work on tunes for their second album.
Additionally, The Temper Trap has announced the release of a collection of remixes of the tunes on
Conditions entitled
Conditions Remixed, which will feature
Fool's Gold and
Rusko among many others. The announcement is accompanied by a free release of
BretonLabs' remix of "Drum Song" featuring Kate Tempest for fans willing to sign on to The Temper Trap's mailing list, which can be done
