"The Recipe," "Swimming Pools (Drank)", and now this. Still without a full-length album to his name, Kendrick Lamar
continues to come out strong. His latest track, "The Art of Peer Pressure," is yet another careful, well-written, thoughtful addition to his catalog. The storytelling in this song is relatable and hard-hitting while the music is somewhat withdrawn and pensive. Just proof that not every rap song needs to be in your face -- holding back a little can be just as powerful. We can't be sure that "The Art of Peer Pressure" is going to make the final tracklisting of good kid, m.A.A.d city
(out on 10/22), but either way, we're happy to hear another strong effort from this up-and-comer.
