Ellie Goulding is having a hell of a 2012. Summer hits, fall smashes -- slowly but surely she's becoming a mainstay in the public consciousness. Next step -- sad, touching ballad. "I Know You Care," the second single off her upcoming album Halcyon, is a bare, heartfelt song that shows a much more pensive side of Ellie. To make things even more moving, the song's music video takes most of its footage from the movie Now Is Good, in which Dakota Fanning plays a terminally ill teenager. This thing is like a modern-day A Walk To Remember (except that Ellie Goulding is way better than Mandy Moore). In other words, get out the tissues.
