She's probably most famous for her work in the hit TV show Gossip Girl, but it turns out that Taylor Momsen also fronts a band, The Pretty Reckless, and that the band is headlining three North American shows this October. The tour will hit Baltimore, NYC and Toronto.

The band recently premeired its first video, for their tune "Make Me Wanna Die." It's got sort of a dark, gothic vibe that would have been cool and edgy circa 1996. That said, the tune itself is mostly fluff dressed up with distorted guitars and hard-rock drums, although I can't lie, it's kinda catchy. The video is equally harmless, save for Momsen becoming (hold your breath for this one) progressively less clothed over the course of it. And let's face it, when was the last time someone was actually offended by that?

"Make Me Wanna Die" was featured this summer on the soundtrack to Kick-Ass, and the group currently has a three-track EP available on iTunes. Their debut full-length album is dropping soon. -peter menniti
