Sound designer and composer Diego Stocco
is intent on proving that the world of music does not exist solely within the confines of a recording studio, stage, or basement. It is everywhere around us, a point that he drives home with his new video "Music From A Dry Cleaner." Stocco goes into a laundry mat with nothing but some microphones, a few tools, and a computer. He then, through the magic of creativity and ProTools, manages to MacGyver his way around the cleaning equipment to create a tinny beat with an overriding bass provided by a pipe. The tune is kind of groovy, and could be well suited for any movie soundtrack, something that Stucco has of course dabbled in before. If anything, this video is definitely going to make your next trip to the cleaners a lot more interesting. Check it out below.
