When news hit of Lou Reed's and Metallica's (Loutallica as we like to call them) forth coming collaboration, everyone was left scratching their heads. Can Reed match the howl of James Hetfield? Is Hetfield going to deliver lines doing a Reed impersonation? Judging from the thirty second preview of an upcoming track, the answer is neither. The sneak-peaks features typical Metallica instrumentals with Reed doing some sort of Bob Dylan/William Shatner impression before Hetfield comes barreling in yelling "I am the brute." To say the least, it's interesting. The collaborative album entitled Lulu is set to come out on 11/1, but the thirty second preview is below. Judging from that, it will be worth a listen, for better or worse.
