While I know we officially proclaimed the weekend that was "Summer's last gasp" in our
last post, the reality is...well, that was just a bit of sour sensationalism. Because the good times? Why, they'll go on and on...hopefully through another five or six weeks of easy, breezy, beautiful weather. All of which makes the laid back tunery Southern California band

Living on the Other Side, are a collection of slightly clunky, country pop that's sure to please. Beach bumming, beers, aimless nights spent cruising the suburbs; listeners will probably hear plenty of clichs swirling around in the bands bodacious brew. But their sound is also universally informed with plenty of CSNY vocal harmonies, rickety bits of guitar twang, and a solid rhythmic drive holding it all together. So whether you hang your hat in Northwest mountain passages, Southwestern deserts, Midwest pastures, or somewhere amongst New Yorks busted, beaten side walks, The Donkeys will have you at ease. -
