The Swedish sister act
First Aid Kit, Klara and Johanna Soderberg, say that their video for "Wolf" is not only about destruction of the planet, but also about finding the animal within you.
If 2012 has been a big year for anyone, it would be First Aid Kit. After releasing
The Lions Roar in January, they performed on
Conan, as well as at large festivals such as Coachella and the Newport Folk Festival. Perhaps even more exciting, however, is the standing ovation they received from Paul Simon after performing
"America" at the Polar Music Prize ceremony.
If you havent gotten
The Lion's Roar yet, or want to scoop up the extra goodies anyway, a limited-edition, deluxe package will be available on 10/2. The deluxe package includes addition tracks, as well as music videos for of the tracks, and an on-the-road documentary DVD called
Follow You Down
To keep 2012 going, the band will embark on their biggest North American tour yet, beginning on September 24th and running through October 20th. You can find the dates
here.
