French electronic duo Daft Punk
have released a seven and a half minute track from 1994. "Drive," recorded the same year as Daft Punk's debut album, is exactly what you'd expect from helmeted pair. The bass is loud and made louder by the thumping of the kick drum. Snare hits and layered synthesizers propel the track forward into a frenzy before finally quieting down at the end. The robotic voice gives the simple command of "Drive" throughout the track. "Drive" is available now on Soma Records three-disc, twentieth anniversary compilation. Check it out below.
