Steel Train hit the late-night TV circuit - familiar territory for the group - in their latest video release for "Turnpike Ghost." The video is set on a fictional late-night TV show with a particularly nasty host, who ruins the end of an (also fictional) movie before the song even starts. The band is replaced for the video by a group of young children, who rock out convincingly on Steel Train's hard-hitting number while the gracious host acts bored in the background and tries to cut them off.
The video, in addition to being entertaining, cleverly sets Steel Train up with an opportunity to pitch their self-titled third album, which is out now on the group's own Terrible Thrills label. They are touring the US in support through October.
