When bands decide to fall back on shining up old material for fresh fame, it makes me feel a little embarrassed. When it comes to '90s alt-rock staple, Bush, who soared to superstardom with singles like "Glycerine" and "Machinehead," eventually lost momentum, Gavin Rossdale became Mr. Gwen Stefani, and the band never quite got back to their days of glory.
With the upcoming release of their latest album (oops...didn't know they were still making new music...), Man On The Run
, Oct. 21st, the band is reissuing their catalog including Sixteen Stone
, Razorblade Suitcase
,The Science of Things
, and the 1997 remix LP, Deconstructed
First up, to make you remember that this band used to be really, really cool and worthy of something Angela Chase would play in her room while dreaming of Jordan Catalano, is their remastered version of "Glycerine." I loved this song, but it's not making me love the band all over again.
Check out the remastered version here
