Black Rebel Motorcycle Club released an exclusive iTunes Live Session today as well as allowing one of the tracks to be downloaded for free from their website. The exclusive live session includes tracks from their most recent album
Beat The Devil's Tattoos, as well as fan favorites from previous releases.
The free track is a new version of "The Line" from 2005's
Howl. The original version was extremely minimal but somehow this new one has been stripped down even further to featuring only the echoing vocals of lead singer Peter hayes and a slow, brooding acoustic guitar back up. Download the track on the band's website
here. Check the band out on their headlining tour this month. They will also be touring in support of the The Stone Temple Pilots this Fall before heading out to Europe. All show dates can be seen on their myspace. The iTunes sessions can be purchased as well on exclusively on iTunes (of course). -
