We've had a good number of upstarts battling for the feet-mover crown in the past few years, including some rather ambitious cuts from the self-proclaimed chillwavers remixing each other to be more uptempo. Fret not, Brooklyn rave community. Indie-house auteurs The Whip are back with a new LP, and it's about time; we need more synthetic goodness formed and fashioned directly for the dancefloor.

First track "Keep Or Delete" promises another record of head-bangers, sounding like a modern upgrade on Eighties new-wave, infused with indie-rock attitude. Have fun on the dance-floor, whatever that means to you. And remember, drink lots of water.

The Whip work everywhere, inside and out. Check them rocking McCarren Park a couple of summers ago in our concert video.
