Slowly tearing himself away from the lazy beats that constituted the chillwave explosion, in his latest video, Neon Indian revamps Nintendo 64-reminiscent chiptune harmonies. Atop a delicious and sentimental synth background, we get dancey disco-pop and Palomo's vocals as a definitive instrument. The video follows the doomed romance of a hard-wired dude unable to break ties from his machines, leaving his vaguely Slavic gamine girlfriend to communicate with him only through pixels.
