10 Years Ago Today, Johnny Cash Passed Away

Today we commemorate the 10th anniversary of the passing of American icon Johnny Cash. The man was a pioneer of country music and is widely known for his general no-fucks-given attitude. With a career that influenced thousands of musicians, produced an incredible number of hit songs, and gave us one of the best music videos of all time in "Hurt", Johnny Cash has become immortalized as a representation of the way music is meant to be.

With that, we'll leave you with a video of Nick Offerman (aKa Ron Swanson) performing a medley of Cash-inspired tunes as well as a fantastic video of Cash and jazz legend Louis Armstrong recreating a 1936 recording Armstrong did with Jimmie Rogers (otherwise known as "The Father of Country Music").
