Singer song writer Jens Lekman
has been laying low since the release of his Night Falls Over Kortadela
in 2007. But the extended quietude of his camp has been shattered with the release of the title track off of his forthcoming EP, "An Argument With Myself". Lekman wrote on his website: "In the case 'Jens Lekman vs. Jens Lekman', we will look closer at the evidence presented - the photo I had carried in my breastpocket for a whole year, the pressed honeysuckle, the wind so rich on summer and so sweet - how are these things connected and why are they relevant?" Then he gave the song away for free.
The warm catchiness of his new track blends with witty lyrics for a smooth cocktail reminiscent of, dare I say, Paul Simon. Schizophrenia has never seemed so charming. Check out Lekman's tour dates below, and then have "An Argument With Myself" on the house.
