John Davis decided to shift his career in a less volatile direction. Teaming up with singer/songwriter
Laura Burhenn, the two dubbed their multi-harmony, absurdly catchy project,
Georgie James, a name that refers to an androgynous singer in the vein of Ziggy Stardust. What that has to do with the music, I dont know. But the sunny disposition of songs like Cake Parade and Need Your Needs is decidedly less mysterious. Georgie James will be touring later this fall. Details below: -
