The Garden State soundtrack just got a 10th anniversary vinyl re-release, and no matter your feelings about the film, it has one hell of a soundtrack. And the cover of the record is taken from a scene where Simon and Garfunkel's "The Only Living Boy in New York" plays... let's call it a major role in the emotional weight of the scene. We have an interview going live with folk darling Passenger in the coming week, and during the interview Passenger said that Paul Simon was the biggest influence on his songwriting style. So, it's appropriate (and wonderful to fans of either artist) that Passenger has decided to cover "The Only Living Boy in New York" with Stu Larsen & the Once for a series of American tour videos Passenger is releasing. Color us charmed yet again.

And, if you enjoyed that video, make sure to watch the exclusive session we shot with Passenger last year. It's fantastic and intimate stuff.
