On Monday evening, Train
performed on Live with Letterman, a music series broadcasted on CBS and VEVO. Singer Pat Monahan, guitarist Jimmy Stafford, and drummer Scott Underwood had a set list made up of songs spanning their whole career: everything from those 90s hits to songs off their new album Catalogue 37
The Grammy winning band began with a repertoire of unfamiliar songs and the frontman joked about the band's peculiar kind of obscurity: no one knows who they are until "Hey, Soul Sister," "Meet Virginia," or "Drops of Jupiter" plays. This is not true, of course. The band's sound has changed significantly since "Drops of Jupiter" and seeing the change was quite an experience for this 90s baby.Train filled the stage with their show, playing, and Pat Monahan's voice. They offered charisma, lively inclusion, and a prime performance.
