There is a certain witchy way about the music
Carina Round dabbles in. It's draped in dark satin, absorbing the drama of her most personal stories, and carried along the winds of eclectic instrumentation like some enchanting spell from a far flung imaginative world. Though the songs that inhabit her latest album
Tigermending were spawned in Los Angeles, few would discount Williamsburg BK's role as an incredible, creative incubator in itself. So we set Carina and her band up in the one of the swankiest spots in the hood. High above the East River, Carina flooded a Wythe Hotel band room with incredibly unique, yet scaled back versions of three songs from
Tigermending. In between, Carina touches on the extremely personal nature of the music she creates. Prepare to be enchanted.
